Beijing Central Station is a passenger railway station in Dongcheng District, Beijing. A station surrounded by the Second Ring Road is located just southeast of the city center, with Beijing Station Street to the north and the remnants of the city wall to the south.

​When the Beijing railway station first opened in 1959, it was the largest train station in China. Beijing West and Beijing South are the two largest stations within the walled city, but this station remains the only one within its walls. Throughout the station, trains pass the Dongbianmen corner tower. This railway's architecture blends traditional Chinese and socialist realist elements with gilded eaves and soaring clock towers.
